Royal Naval Medical Service

That this House congratulates the members of the medical and surgical support team of 3 Commando Brigade who have recently returned from Northern Iraq; notes that the team comprised 35 doctors and nurses who, using two operating tables and 50 beds, performed 70 operations on servicemen from the United States, the United Kingdom and Iraq, and refugees from Iraq, rangeing from a 72 year old to a 10 month old child; notes that they also gave medical screening to 5,000 Kurdish refugees; and thanks the team for undertaking these duties in the highest tradition of the Royal Naval Medical Service.
