Reduction Of District Nursing Services In Bradford

That this House notes that Bradford Area Health Authority management is proposing that qualified nurses should be removed from nursing care, for which the nurses are trained and experienced, to be replaced by people whose qualifications and experience are yet to be determined; notes also that the proposals have been submitted to the Health Authority without adequate consultation by a crassly incompetent management which seems more concerned with business schemes than caring for people in need; and calls on the management to properly and adequately consult the district nurses whose knowledge and experience is being ignored by management whose proposals are causing only dismay and concern both to nurses and the people of Bradford.
