That this House highly commends the action of the Morecambe Conservative Club, situated in the constituency of the Parliamentary Private Secretary to the Prime Minister, for the magnificent stand in withdrawing support for the Conservative Party and refusing the club's facilities to the Prime Minister, as an expression of the members' disgust at the iniquitous poll tax foisted on the people of the North West of England.
