Self-Determination For The Peoples Of Kashmir

EDM number 808 in 1989-90, proposed by Gerard Vaughan on 28/03/1990.

That this House is concerned at the continuing violence and deaths that are still occuring in that part of Kashmir which is incorporated in India; and believes in the right of the people of the whole of Kashmir to self-determination by referendum in accordance with the United Nations resolution 261 agreed in 1948 and not yet implemented.
