Conduct Of The Right Honourable Member For Yeovil

That this House deplores the patronising and sexist attitude of the leader of the Liberal Democrats, the Right honourable Member for Yeovil, for his description of the Labour candidate in the Mid Staffordshire by-election as a 'barbie doll'; and suggests that if his party's claim to want more women honourable Members is to be believed, he needs to learn that to trivialise and categorise women in the manner he has, neither treats women with respect nor is it likely to encourage women to enter politics.
