General Practitioners In Huddersfield And Colne Valley
EDM number 72 in 1989-90, proposed by Charles Kennedy on 27/11/1989.
That this House congratulates the Liberal Democrats on Huddersfield and Colne Valley in conducting a survey of local general practitioners; notes that 85 per cent. of those who responded believe that patients will lose from the changes proposed in Working for Patients and that the same percentage believe that Working for Patients will place restrictions on their ability to cater for patients with special needs; and further calls upon the Secretary of State for Health to meet general practitioners in the Huddersfield and Colne Valley area to discover their views in person.
This motion has been signed by a total of 9 MPs.
