That this House congratulates the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, the Right honourable Member for Suffolk Coastal, on his highly successful speech to the annual general meeting of the National Farmers' Union; welcomes his obvious determination to fight for fair competition within Europe for the British farmer; applauds his decision to increase the compensation payable on B.S.E. infected cattle to 100 per cent. of their market value and believes his positive approach should be supported in all farming and rural communities.
