Electrification Of Railway Line To Lichfield

EDM number 472 in 1989-90, proposed by Graham Allen on 07/02/1990.

That this House notes the Government's decision to electrify the railway line to Lichfield in proximity to the by-election constituency of Mid-Staffordshire; and calls upon a Conservative honourable Member in Nottinghamshire to resign in order that the Midland Main Line from Nottingham to St. Pancras can be electrified without further delay.
