Prime Minister's Stand on South Africa

That this House welcomes the decision by President De Klerk to bring about peaceful political change enabling all people in South Africa to participate in the democratic process; congratulates the Prime Minister on her courageous stand against the imposition of sanctions, a stand which the world can now see has been entirely vindicated in bringing about peaceful change; and urges her to receive a visit from President De Klerk as soon as possible and also to visit South Africa at the earliest appropriate opportunity.
