Abortion

That this House condemns the comments made in the Sunday Times of 4th February that cleft lips and palates on unborn children in the womb are 'life threatening' conditions; notes that in both cases these minor defects can be rectified with minor surgery; is appalled that abortions are allowed under the current law for these conditions; deplores the hypocrisy of the pro-abortion mentality within the medical profession, and the pro-abortion lobby in trying to justify such obscene abuses of the law; and calls on Her Majesty's Government as a matter of urgency to close the loopholes in the law that allow such denigration of human life.
