EDM number 358 in 1989-90, proposed by Jim Sillars on 23/01/1990.

That this House urges those English Tory honourable Members who rebelled against their Government on the English poll tax to heed the words of the honourable Member for Southend East, Official Report, 18th January, column 448, about showing equal concern for Scotland and to follow the logic of his argument and rebel against the Government on Thursday 25th January on the Scottish poll tax.

This motion has been signed by a total of 6 MPs.
