That this House notes the latest Systems Three opinion poll which charts the continuing decline of the Tory Party in Scotland to third place and 16 per cent. of the vote, that on the basis of the poll the Tories would lose a further six seats, including three to the Scottish National Party, that the only survivor from the current Scottish Office team would be the honourable Member for Edinburgh West and that the honourable member for Tayside North, once holder of the safest seat in Scotland, would make a welcome return to private life; and notes that the honourable Member for Stirling has communicated his brand of Conservative policies effectively to the Scottish People,
