That this House draws attention to the continuing anomaly whereby the Chairman of the Association of Telephone Information and Entertainment Providers is also a member of the Independent Committee for the Supervision of Standards of Telephone Information Services; suggests that this is further proof that ICSTIS exists to represent the interests of telephone network and system providers to the exclusion of the consumer; and therefore calls upon Her Majesty's Government to replace this creature of British Telecom with a statutory body forthwith.
