"the Pickles Papers"
EDM number 223 in 1989-90, proposed by Max Madden on 18/12/1989.
That this House congratulates Tony Crogan on the publication of "The Pickles Papers"; believes his revelations about the excesses of modern Conservatism in Bradford serve as a timely warning to the citizens of Bradford and to the rest of the country; calls for a full and independent inquiry into the plans to privatise Bradford's school-meal service; and finally condemns the policies and abuse of local democracy perpetrated by Councillor Eric Pickles, Leader of Bradford Council, and his Conservative colleagues since they took control of Bradford Council in October 1988.
This motion has been signed by a total of 20 MPs.
