Child Benefit

EDM number 208 in 1989-90, proposed by Ian Paisley on 14/12/1989.

That this House deplores the insensitive attitude of this Government to freeze child benefit for the third successive year; and calls upon the Government to review the whole child benefit scheme with a view to increasing it in line with inflation and children's needs.
