Peace Trains Event
EDM number 1466 in 1989-90, proposed by Harry Barnes on 25/10/1990.
That this House warmly congratulates the organisers of the Peace Trains Event between Portadown and Dublin, which is due to take place on 27th October; and notes that this symbolises the determination of the great bulk of people in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland to challenge paramilitary terrorism, which has closed the line down on numerous occasions, and to emphasise the need for common efforts to undermime sectarianism.
This motion has been signed by a total of 12 MPs.
