Bust Of Keir Hardie

EDM number 1455 in 1989-90, proposed by Dick Douglas on 25/10/1990.

That this House calls upon the House Authorities to ensure that in future when the bust of James Keir Hardie, a Scottish socialist leader of the Labour Party and a man greatly admired for his courage, integrity and contribution to the advancement of working people internationally, is taken from its pedestal for whatever reason, that it be displayed in a place of prominence and honour, and not as at present discarded to a position where it is on a dusty floor under a table.

This motion has been signed by a total of 7 MPs.
