St Thomas's Hospital

EDM number 1407 in 1989-90, proposed by Kate Hoey on 16/10/1990.

That this House condemns the proposal of St Thomas's Hospital to evict nurses from their present homes at the hospital in order to offer rooms to the London Tourist Board as accommodation for tourists; and notes that this is another example of the desperate measures being taken by the hospital in order to meet the financial requirements to opt out of the National Health Service.
