L. Greenberg & Sons Ltd., Kirkby, and Workers' Holiday Savings

That this House notes with alarm the fact the directors of L. Greenberg & Sons have misappropriated the workers' holiday savings funds; notes that, as a result, over ú31,000 of their personal savings is in the hands of the appointed receivers; calls on the directors of the company to recognise their responsibilities and restore the funds to the workforce out of their own resources; and calls on the Government to consider legislation to prevent such abuses.
