World Summit For Children
EDM number 1356 in 1989-90, proposed by Robert Parry on 25/07/1990.
That this House congratulates the United Nations for organising the World Summit for Children in New York on 29th-30th September; notes that the six countries who called the summit have received notice that to date over 50 world leaders have accepted; and hopes that the Prime Minister will accept or at least a Member of the Cabinet will ensure that the United Kingdom will be represented.
