Abortion Pill Ru486

EDM number 1338 in 1989-90, proposed by Elizabeth Peacock on 24/07/1990.

That this House believes that the Department of Health should strongly resist giving permission to Roussel Laboratories' application to market the abortion pill RU486 in Britain, a pill which to date has been tested in more than 20 countries, but has only been made available in France.
