Training In Wales
EDM number 1333 in 1989-90, proposed by Barry Jones on 24/07/1990.
That this House expresses grave concern at the recent cuts in the training programme in Wales; notes that only 36 per cent. of young people stay on in education in Wales; and deplores the haste with which the new 44-week employment training contracts were introduced, which were accompanied by substantial reductions in training places in the Principality.
This motion has been signed by a total of 15 MPs.
