European Special Olympics Games

That this House congratulates the organisers and all the sponsors of the above event currently taking place in Strathclyde; further congratulates everyone involved in the excellent opening ceremony in Shettleston Constituency on Saturday 21st July, especially the guest entertainers, special guests, Frank Bruno, Duncan Goodhew, Don Johnson and Tessa Sanderson, compere Paul Coia, the 30,000 plus specators, Celtic Football Club who made available their stadium, and most of all the thousands of competitors, families, friends and helpers who made this day in Glasgow a day to remember; is confident that these games will be an enormous success; and wishes everyone well who participates in them.
