Congratulations To The BBC Monitoring Service

That this House recognises the immense contribution made by the Monitoring Service of the British Broadcasting Corporation, especially in its coverage of the events of the last 12 months in Central and Eastern Europe and in the diligent perception of its reports from each country; further notes with pleasure that the Service has been a crucial source of information relied on by many other nations; and congratulates and commends all those involved in the Monitoring Service and underlines the continuing value it represents to Britain.
