Charing Cross Hospital

EDM number 1246 in 1989-90, proposed by Clive Soley on 06/07/1990.

That this House notes that the Health Service cannot be safe in the Prime Minister's hands when Charing Cross Hospital has to cancel patients' operations and close 48 beds in a desperate attempt to save money; further notes that this crisis only came to public attention when a patient contacted a local health watchdog; and, as the financial crisis resulted in the hospital being on red alert, calls on the Government to increase funds for the Riverside Health Authority.

This motion has been signed by a total of 21 MPs.
