Scottish Education Department Confusion

That this House notes, with no great surprise, that an order form from the honourable Member for Shettleston sent to the Scottish Community Education Council, enclosing a ú5 cheque for publications costing ú5, received instead a reply from the solicitor to the Secretary of State for Scotland demanding ú279-00 within 14 days or court action would be taken, thus causing distress to the honourable Member's spouse who opened the reply; and would welcome some helpful guidelines from the Secretary of State for Scotland as to how one can order Scottish Community Education Council publications without fearing the consequence of doing so.
