Destruction Of The Ozone Layer

EDM number 1152 in 1989-90, proposed by Bob Cryer on 20/06/1990.

That this House, in view of the overwhelming scientific evidence of increasing ozone depletion and the unforseeable consequences for the health of the planet and all life on it, urges the Government, at the environmental conference in London from 27th-29th June on the 1987 Montreal Protocol, to support a total phase-out of all ozone destroying compounds in the immediate future.
