Professional Competence Of Miss Pauline Bousquet

That this House notes with pleasure that the City and Hackney Health Authority have now admitted that any allegations made casting doubt on the professional competence of consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist, Miss Pauline Bousquet, were completely unfounded; regrets that it has taken Miss Bousquet 11 years to clear her name with the help of the British Medical Association; and believes that she was a victim of male prejudice on the part of some of her colleagues.
